Kidney biopsy

Kidney biopsy. Because it can be performed quickly and easily at the bedside without radiation exposure, ultrasound is the preferred procedure for guiding kidney biopsies, and point-of-care ultrasound enables biopsied to be performed in their entirety by nephrologists. The literature demonstrates excellent success and safety of kidney biopsies guided and performed by nephrologists.
